Terms of Service
Last updated September 13, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and I Did It ("we" or "us"), and they apply whenever you use the I Did It website or apps. By creating an account or using I Did It, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
01Who can use I Did It
You must be at least 13 years old to use I Did It. If you're under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has read and agreed to these terms with you.
You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens on your account.
02Your content
You own what you post. By posting, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute your content so we can operate, improve, and promote I Did It. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where others have already shared it or we need to keep it for legal reasons.
You confirm that you have the rights to everything you post.
03Community rules
I Did It has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Don't post anything, or do anything, that:
- Harasses, bullies, threatens, or impersonates anyone.
- Is hateful or discriminatory.
- Is sexual or sexually suggestive, or exploits or endangers minors in any way.
- Shows or encourages violence, self-harm, or dangerous stunts.
- Is illegal, or explains how to make weapons, explosives, or other devices meant to cause harm.
- Infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights.
- Is spam, a scam, or misleading.
- Shares someone's private information without their permission.
- Tries to break, overload, or get around the security of I Did It.
04Moderation, reporting, and blocking
We use automated checks and human review to keep I Did It safe. You can report any post, comment, or person, and block anyone so they can no longer interact with you.
We review reports promptly and aim to act on them within 24 hours. We may remove content, or suspend or end accounts, that break these terms.
05Build safely
Inventions on I Did It are shared for inspiration. We don't check that projects are safe, legal, or work as described, and you try to build anything you see here at your own risk.
Use proper safety equipment, follow the instructions for your tools and materials, and get help from a parent, teacher, or other qualified adult for any project involving electricity, heat, sharp tools, chemicals, or other hazards.
06Challenges and rewards
We may run challenges, such as Best Build of the Week. Entry is free and no purchase is necessary. Winners are chosen at our discretion using the criteria we announce for each challenge.
Before sending a reward, we may ask a winner to confirm their eligibility and, for winners under 18, to give a parent's or guardian's contact details. Rewards can't be exchanged for cash and aren't available where prohibited by law.
07Copyright complaints
If you believe content on I Did It infringes your copyright, email us with a link to the content, a description of your work, and your contact details. We remove infringing content and may end the accounts of repeat infringers.
08Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if the law requires us to.
09Disclaimers
I Did It is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the service or any content on it.
10Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, I Did It isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the service, content posted by others, or projects you attempt. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
11Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using I Did It after that, you accept the updated terms.
