Delete your account
You can delete your I Did It account at any time. Deleting it is permanent and can't be undone.
01In the app
- Open your profile.
- Tap Settings, then Delete account.
- Confirm. If you signed up with a password or with Apple, you'll be asked to sign in again first.
02On the website
- Sign in and open your profile.
- Scroll to Account and choose Delete account.
- Confirm when asked.
03What gets deleted
Your profile, username, photo, and bio; every invention you've posted with its photos and videos; your comments, likes, follows, saved posts, drafts, blocks, and notifications; and your sign-in account.
Deletion happens straight away. Copies may remain in backups for up to 30 days. We may keep reports and limited records longer when we need them for safety, legal, or security reasons.
04Can't sign in?
Email us from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm it's you and delete it for you.
